Nilam Patel has over 17 years of experience in the biomedical and commercial sectors of the healthcare industry. He began his career in biomedical engineering at Genentech, later transitioning into commercial operations. He contributed to organizations such as Sharklet, ArcherDX, Invitae (following its acquisition of ArcherDX), and Cala Health.

 

Throughout his career, Nilam has developed a strong foundation in sales operations and strategic implementation. His expertise spans the diagnostic and medical device spaces, where he has led initiatives in incentive compensation, performance metric monitoring, territory expansion and alignment, HCP targeting, and other key commercial activities.

Nilam graduated with a BS in bioengineering from the University of California San Diego, and got his M.B.A from Babson.
